Get Ready for National Storytelling Week!
National Storytelling Week is just around the corner, running from 1st to 9th February 2025. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the magic of storytelling and inspire a love of reading in all pupils, including those with SLCN.
Here are some ideas:
📖 Interactive Story Time – Use props or visuals to bring stories to life.
📝 Vocabulary Jar – Highlight a daily word to spark curiosity and discussion.
📚 The 5 W’s – Use ‘who, what, when, where and why’ to help children structure their ideas and gain confidence in their storytelling abilities.
