What's included in a Verbo licence?
A Verbo licence includes access to all relevant platform features, resources, screening tools, training materials and updates released during your licence period. Standard Licences also include Speech and Language Therapist consultation time.
What's the difference between a Platform Licence and a Standard Licence?
The Platform Licence provides full access to Verbo and is ideal for settings that prefer a self-guided approach to implementation.
The Standard Licence includes everything in the Platform Licence, plus 3 hours of online Speech and Language Therapist consultation that can be used for implementation support, training, target selection, Q&A sessions and other agreed activities.
Can I purchase Verbo just for one phase, department or group of pupils?
No. Verbo licences are purchased at setting level and include unlimited staff accounts and unlimited pupil profiles.
Verbo is designed to support a whole-setting approach to communication and inclusion, rather than being used by a single department, key stage or group of pupils.
Many settings use Verbo to strengthen universal provision, support early identification and improve staff confidence across the setting. While Verbo includes targeted resources and interventions, it is intended to be embedded into everyday practice rather than used as an isolated intervention programme.
Only a small proportion of our pupils have identified speech, language and communication needs. Is Verbo still suitable?
Yes. Verbo is designed to support all children and young people, not just those with identified speech, language and communication needs.
The platform helps settings strengthen universal provision, create communication-friendly environments and support early identification. While Verbo includes targeted resources and interventions, its greatest impact comes when communication-supportive practice is embedded across the whole setting.
Can Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) receive discounted pricing?
Yes. We offer discounted pricing for trusts purchasing licences for multiple schools. Pricing is tailored to the number and type of schools within the trust.
Can Local Authorities, ICBs and Speech and Language Therapy Teams purchase Verbo?
Yes. We offer tailored licensing and commissioning options for Local Authorities, ICBs, NHS services, Speech and Language Therapy Teams and other organisations supporting multiple schools or settings.
